AVON and Somerset Chief Constable Colin Port hit the nail on the head when he said every distraction burglary is a potential murder and called for ten year jail terms for those convicted.
I think it's time for a change, a stiff prison sentence instead of a slap on the wrist or some joke of a fine. I think that politicians should pause to consider Mr Port's statement and make the punishment fit the crime.
